4R, an event sponsor, invites retailers to meet with their team 9-10 March 2016, Olympia, London, UK at Stand 510.
BERWYN, PA, USA, 7 March 2016 – 4R Systems, Inc., a leading provider of advanced inventory and supply chain services that uses science and technology to help retail chains maximise profit from their omnichannel inventory investment, announced its sponsorship of RBTE, Retail Business Technology Expo. There 4R will be presenting two new product offerings that help retailers generate more profit from omnichannel stock: Assortment Optimisation Solution and Seasonal Allocation 2.0. 4R boasts its solutions cost a fraction of traditional replenishment systems, and increases profit with a quick ROI—months, not years.
The first product, 4R’s Assortment Optimisation Solution (AO), positions retailers to model demand for products in a category by their attributes and find the best set of products to maximise sales or profit. AO also helps determine the optimal number of products for a retailer’s omnichannel inventory.
4R President and CEO Kevin Stadler said, “We leverage behavioral analytics to accurately determine consumer demand. Further, our solution can accurately predict the probability shoppers will select a similar product when the first choice is unavailable. These analytics can help unify your entire supply chain and increase profit.”
The Assortment Optimisation Solution moves far beyond traditional SKU rationalization to optimize, and not just reduce, assortment.
4R also announced Seasonal Allocation 2.0 is now in general availability. Seasonal Allocation offers retailers a cloud-based suite of tools to manage the allocation of short seasonal products through their entire lifecycle, from initial pre-season allocation through to post-season analysis. Seasonal Allocation clients can define and configure seasons, customize the demand profile for each SKU, manage initial and weekly store allocations, and review season performance during and after the season, all via a web-based graphical user interface. The Seasonal Allocation forecasting engine blends multiple components in different weights during the season to maximise accuracy. It then applies a proprietary optimisation algorithm to produce allocations that balance the risk of stock outs against the cost of stranded inventory at each week of the season.
Stadler added, “Our Seasonal Allocation 2.0 Solution for retailers brings a new level of simplicity and accuracy in the supply chain. Retailers using our Seasonal Allocation Solution will see higher levels of both revenue and profit in their fashion and short seasonal products.”
Both products have been developed to maximise profit from omnichannel stock. Interested retailers can learn more about both product offerings by visiting with the 4R team at Stand 510.
