This is an opportunity for a technically adept and driven individual. Having experience in supporting a sales team culture themselves, ideally they will possess a demonstrable and successful background in the retail management consulting business. This role will have an exciting chance to be involved in developing a pre-sales function with opportunity to expand more into front-line sales delivery. The Solutions Consultant develops and ultimately delivers sales presentations and 4R and Profit Optimized Inventory. This is a customer facing position that focuses on providing pre-sales support for sales and consulting opportunities in North America. The Solutions Consultant:
- Works with the 4R Sales and Solutions team to build awareness of the company’s Profit Optimized Inventory Services, and works closely with potential customers to determine how the company can best serve their unique needs;
- Responds to RFI/RFPs, develops business proposals, supports active sales engagements, exploits commercial opportunities;
- Participates in pre-sales calls, develops and delivers client centric presentations;
- Provides technical/project consultancy in support of sales at client meetings, conference calls and specific client delivery tasks;
- Conducts and captures client business discovery sessions;
- Works closely with members of the Client Services, Analytics, and Sales & Marketing teams to ensure successful sales execution; responsible for pre-sales project management throughout the sales cycle;
- Participates in trade shows / conferences to demonstrate the value of 4R and Profit Optimized Inventory.
Requirements of the Position:
Experience
Required:
- Demonstrably successful consulting pre-sales experience ideally in the area of Supply Chain and Retail
- Minimum of 5 years pre-sales experience
Analytical/ Technical
Required:
- Excellent written, verbal communication and analytical and inter-personal skills
- Experience in constructing and replying to RFI/ RFP documents
- Technical skills and ease with software solutions
- Highly proficient at developing PowerPoint presentations
- Demonstrable experience of basic project management
Education
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree with business related focus, or comparable experience in a retail or consulting organization

Travel:
